As a member of Sky’s Group Bigger Picture team within Corporate Affairs, you will play a critical role in inspiring people to think more positively about Sky, acting on the issues our customers and staff care about and play a part in making a difference to the communities where we live and work.

Our Youth & Social Impact programmes are a group-wide commitment, to provide opportunities to young people from all backgrounds to have a voice and build skills for the future. Your role will be to support and contribute to the development of our Youth & Social Impact initiatives.
This is an exciting role within Sky for someone, with experience/passion for working with young people in some capacity, such as youth work, coaching or as a teaching assistant. Whether you are at a pre-school , cover supervisor or from any other background we want to hear from you!
You’ll be facilitating a best-in-class immersive educational experience that uses the power of TV and Film to equip young people with skills for the future. Using bespoke software and studio equipment, you will take groups of young people through the process of creating a film pitch.
What you’ll do:
Successfully facilitate Sky Up Academy Studios sessions for young people aged 11-18
Actively support young people who present with SEND to ensure the session meets their needs
Be responsible for briefing all visitors to Sky Up Academy Studios and conducting tours opening the doors to the world of work at Sky
Attend regular training and development opportunities to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and local policy developments
Work with the Youth & Social Impact Executive on the school’s recruitment strategy with a specific focus on underserved areas
Ensure all the correct due diligence has been done, including all safeguarding, legal, data protection and health and safety
Establish boundaries, challenge inappropriate behaviour and reporting
Support the Youth & Social Impact Manager and the Group Head of Youth & Social Impact with the overall strategy for Sky in education working closely with peers to achieve results

Prioritising your workload and taking a flexible approach to changes in direction
The ability to encourage and inspire students

Sky Studios Elstree
Sky Studios Elstree is the UK's newest, state-of-the-art film and TV studio. With 12 sound stages, the studio will enable £3bn of production investment over the first five years of operation. It represents a significant investment in the UK and European creative economy from Sky and sister company NBCUniversal, both part of Comcast Group. The studio will create thousands of jobs and has been built with sustainability at the heart.
Our studio campus is a 15-minute walk from Borehamwood train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from the station. We also have onsite parking and electric vehicle charging on site.
