This role is an exciting opportunity to join us and work within our Social Media Team . As a member of the Sky UK Social Team you’ll work as the dedicated Social Media Analyst, alongside a team of Media Managers + Social Media Execs, and be responsible for analysing, providing key data insights and driving the reporting the Sky UK and Sky Brand content output (including Sports and Cinema).  

 

The team is focused on delivering our social media strategy and content output in the UK, including the development and delivery of paid and owned campaigns, the production of content, driving engagement, generating positive sentiment and share of voice, as well as day to day community engagement. 

  

Your role: 

  • Ownership of campaign reporting / analysis support to both social and influencer brand campaign work across the Sky UK channel ecosystem. 
  • Provide product insight development and support inputting this into key campaign creative developments. 
  • Drive the reporting, analysis and insight support for our key Sky Sports projects (Scenes + Editions) and connect with our marketing team to support longer term brand tracking.  
  • Support any future reporting and insights for Sky Cinema brand work, including social insights across Sky UK and Sky Cinema. 
  • Lead the reporting, analysis and insight report for key strategic project ‘OneTV’ to provide both real-time and campaign updates to the social team in order to refine and iterate our plans to gain the best results.  
  • Support in providing key insights that can fold into any future Sky UK channel architecture work, sharing key data across all of our social channels, including any Audience Development work across the full Sky Social team. 
  • Supporting the Social Media team with paid campaign insight generation, helping to inform strategic decision making for social campaign success. 
  • Supporting the Social Media Strategy Lead for any key insights, platform insights and reporting to help with strategic thought around key priority projects.  

  

Your skills:

  • A passion and expertise knowledge for Social Media with expertise knowledge of reporting, data management and analytics is essential, plus a understanding of our key entertainment and product industries that Sky operate within. 
  • Proven experience in data and analytics, social reporting and insights management for Social content that is best fit for all Social Media platforms. 
  • Demonstrable knowledge of how insights and data can help inform any future work in social media campaigns, connecting to social trends. 
  • Proven experience in key reporting platforms (i.e Sprinklr) 
  • Must have a strong understanding of Social Media platforms, new social formats and the different ways new audiences consume content on them, and how key consumption trends need to be shared in order to affect future Social Media output.  
  • Must have strong interest in the Social Media landscape and able to identify trends/ techniques that drive reach, share of voice, positive sentiment and engagement. 
  • A team player, with demonstrable experience working in a quick-paced environment with tight deadlines and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the business when necessary.
