We care about the development of high-quality, maintainable software and utilise Continuous Integration / deployment for incremental delivery and fast feedback. We are looking for a Software Engineer to join us on our journey.

What you’ll do –

• Work embedded in a cross-functional team with software engineers, technical product owners and test engineers all working together towards common goals to develop JVM applications using Test Driven Development and Pair Programming
• Contribute to the design and implementation of our systems, understanding the context and why we are implementing what we are implementing, whilst always looking to improve our systems and ways of working
• Contribute to our department-wide initiatives for innovation

Minimum requirements –

• Extensive experience developing enterprise applications in Java or Kotlin programming languages
• Practical experience using industry standard backend frameworks (e.g. Spring Framework)
• Ideally hands on experience demonstrating Test Driven Development & Pair Programming
• Familiar with CI/CD tooling and its use in supporting zero‑downtime releases
• An understanding of Agile software delivery practices and ability to work effectively within a cross‑functional team.
• Have a passion for software engineering and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
