We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join the Sky Technology Innovation team, focusing on the development and deployment of innovative Generative AI solutions to solve complex business challenges. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for technology and hunger for delivering business value.

What you'll do

• Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop architecture blueprints, data models, and technical designs. Lead the integration of Sky’s Generative AI capabilities into systems, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability.

• Technology Expertise: Leverage your deep knowledge of technologies and tools relevant to the business unit and problem. Stay abreast of technological advancements with Large Language Models and wider A.I., incorporating cutting-edge techniques into solutions. Conduct feasibility studies and proof of concepts to demonstrate the applicability in solving business problems and value.

• Consulting Background: Apply your consulting experience to assess current state and guide business users towards an optimal solution for their problem.

• Business Partnering: Act as a bridge between the technology teams and business units, fostering strong relationships with business leaders to align technology solutions with strategic objectives.

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, data scientists, and other architects to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.

• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and provide mitigation strategies to ensure the security, compliance, and reliability of the technology solutions.

• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, specifications, and project plans.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Economics or a related field.

• Must have good knowledge of major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and their foundation model services and how to apply them to business  problems.

• Proven track record of designing and deploying scalable solutions in enterprise environments.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

• Strong programming skills in Python, and familiarity with AI development tools and frameworks. Able to build high quality prototypes to prove the business value.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working as part of a diverse distributed team and leading client engagements.

• Experience with software development best practices and deploying applications in production environments.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
