As part of the Global Experience Product Management team and reporting to the Head of Experience Research, the Senior Experience Researcher will lead exploratory and evaluative user research that informs product strategy and guides design directions.
What you'll do
You will partner closely with our global product and design teams to uncover and shape near- and medium-term opportunities through deep insights into human needs, behaviours, and contexts. You will lead and collaborate on end-to-end user research initiatives that drive product and design decisions and help define the future direction of our global product portfolio.
Your work will include:
- Identifying and adapting best approaches to answer user research questions based on goals and constraints, and producing research plans combining qual and quant methodologies.
- Designing and executing user research studies, conducting lab-based usability testing, eye tracking studies and moderating in-depth interviews.
- Articulating the interpretation of research findings and its impact on various parts of the wider business, industry and society.
- Synthesising learnings from a range of available sources, including previous research and third-party reports.
- Supporting the team’s drive to increase efficiencies through new capabilities and research ops improvements, leveraging AI capabilities in our workflow.
- Partnering closely with product managers, designers, other researchers and strategists to influence product strategy, define user-centered solutions, and deliver intuitive and meaningful product experiences.
- Present clearly and confidently to product and design teams, applying strategic models where appropriate.
What you'll bring
- Substantial experience in planning and conducting user research studies (including lab-based usability testing, remote user research, interviews, surveys, contextual enquiries or diary studies).
- A strong analytical and curios mind, confident in synthesizing and evaluating quant or qual data and translating complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- A critical perspective on how AI can be used responsibly and effectively within user research, from accelerating analysis to augmenting insight generation.
- Deep understanding of UX principles, with the ability to connect user needs to product opportunities and design outcomes.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills, with exceptional written and verbal skills to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- A proactive, self-driven individual with an equally strong team ethos.
Desirable:
- Hands-on experience with eye-tracking studies.
- Experience of driving research ops initiatives, including integrating AI into research processes.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
