Better content. Better products. And better careers.

Working in Tech, Product or Data at Sky is about building the next and the new. From broadband to broadcast, streaming to mobile, SkyQ to Sky Glass, we never stand still. We optimise and innovate.

We turn big ideas into the products, content and services millions of people love.

And we do it all right here at Sky.

As Senior Product Manager leading New Paid Customer product development on our Commerce team, you will conceive, define, design, develop, test, and launch highly effective Digital Subscription plan merchandising and selection experiences that are contextually relevant, useful and resonant with prospective subscribers.

What you'll do

  • Product Development: Spearhead the creation and ownership of digital features and products, ensuring they meet consumer needs and deliver exceptional value.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize both qualitative and quantitative data to define product requirements and guide development.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present vision, strategy, work products, insights, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other product owners, designers, and engineers to bring products to market successfully. Embrace a build, test, learn, and iterate approach.
  • Input Balancing: Integrate feedback from business, design, research, technology, and external teams. Foster a network of cross-functional partners, building rapport and trust.
  • Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a roadmap of impactful digital products, features, and optimizations that prioritize customer value, business growth, and strategic opportunities.

What you'll bring

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated commercial experience as a Product Owner with a track record of end-to-end ownership and delivery of consumer-facing digital products, including monetisation and optimisation strategies, and experimentation within an e-commerce business.
  • Expertise in Digital Product Development: High proficiency and deep operational knowledge in every aspect of digital product development, utilising tools, technologies, established best practices, and experience-based methods.
  • Data Interpretation and Customer Insight: Ability to interpret data and listen to the voice of the customer, bridging gaps between teams and stakeholders to enhance our business’s products and services.
  • Concept Evaluation and Execution: Identify the most impactful concepts and push them through rigorous evaluation, execution, implementation, experimentation, and success—or failure.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to bring big ideas to the table, considering resources and timescales that may affect delivery.
  • Adaptability in Agile Environments: Adaptability with a consumer-first approach to product design and development within an agile software development environment.
