Strategic Partnerships Manager

The Strategic Partnership manager will play a key role within the Partnerships & Promotions team, helping design and build the right partnership & sponsorship portfolio for Sky. This role will help manage a comprehensive list of existing partner relationships, as well as foster new ones as we further broaden our reach. This is an exciting time for the team, as the business puts even more emphasis on the need to work with partners at a master brand level, and alongside the roll out of our new brand positioning. 

What You'll Do: 

• Day-to-day management of existing partnership & sponsorship relationships.  
• Building and maintaining trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders of varying levels of seniority. 
• Work with our consumer strategy team to identify the right partner mix to align with the businesses long-term growth ambitions.  
• Work with our vertical business teams to understand their core objectives and help identify future partnership opportunities for collaboration.  
• Effective measurement and tracking of all partnership & sponsorship performance, with timely and considered reporting, helping to inform future strategy and planning.  
• Development of presentations for Directors, MD & C-Suite on partnership strategy and planning.  
• Lead our involvement with Symphony and the coordination of Sky’s support & activation of Comcast business priorities.  
• Provide constructive challenge to peers and seniors to ensure we are always pushing beyond the status quo.

• Main point of contact for our external partners & sponsors. 
• Sky Sports & Commercial Partnerships teams.  
• Customer Growth and vertical teams across Consumer Group.  
• Marketing teams across ROI, IT & DE.  
• Comcast and NBCUniversal colleagues.  

What You'll Bring: 

•  Presentation experience and confidence to engage and represent Sky in partner and key internal stakeholder meetings.  
• Brilliant collaborator and strong relationship skills – able to work across a matrix organisation and foster strong relationships with agencies and wider business areas.  
• Strong organisation and admin skills including use of PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint.  
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and collaboration skills both internally and externally.   
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure and to tight deadlines and react to last-minute changes.
