As part of The Future Talent Programme, we’re looking for a Studio Runner to play a critical role in ensuring that Studio users have a first-class production experience whilst working onsite. 

The Future Talent Programme is a 12-month paid placement (fixed term contract) based at Sky Studios Elstree. Our aim is that the programme will boost your prospects, develop your contact base and give you a great starting knowledge of the industry that will help kick start your career in Film and TV. Our Talent Manager will support you through the programme with goal setting and development opportunities throughout the year.

Please note, due to the nature of this role and Health & Safety regulations relating to lone working / young workers, this placement is only available to candidates who are 18 and over.
 

What you’ll do:

• Provide day to day support, as required, across the site to various stakeholders and critical operational teams.

• Support with setting up and clearing down client areas before and after occupation across the site in offices, stages, production support buildings, etc. 

• Provide on-set runner service, as required by production. 

• Provide administrative support to the Client Services and Operations teams as required.

What you’ll bring:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

• An outstanding attitude towards delivering exemplary customer service. 

• Creative problem solving.

• Friendly, positive, can-do attitude.

• Proactive and able to use own initiative. 

• Ability to work well in a team. 

• Customer service experience beneficial, but not essential. 

Team Overview:

Sky Studios Elstree is the UK's newest, state-of-the-art film and TV studio. With 12 sound stages, the studio will enable £3bn of production investment over the first five years of operation. It represents a significant investment in the UK and European creative economy from Sky and sister company NBCUniversal, both part of Comcast Group. The studio will create thousands of jobs, become a training ground for the next generation of young talent and has been built with sustainability at the heart.

Our studio campus is a 15-minute walk from Borehamwood train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from the station.  We also have onsite parking and electric vehicle charging on site.
