The Performance Manager will be at the heart of providing business direction in relation to NOW’s weekly trading KPIs via robust consolidation, actualisation and forecast management. They will need to be data savvy but importantly be an excellent collaborator who can work seamlessly across a wide range of stakeholders, providing timely and well-informed recommendations which will be critical to moving the business forward.

What you’ll do:

  • Actualise trading reports across a number of KPIs including Sports, Cinema and Entertainment passes, to help the business track performance through the quarter
  • Monitor and act on end to end funnel of product performance from new sales activity through to retention and churn performance
  • Become an expert on your product, driving weekly performance, managing weekly risk and opportunities to drive growth as well as being the SME for performance insights
  • Support on weekly UK exec trading cadence with specific deliverables including performance variances to original forecast, mid-week projections and closing the trading week
  • Support on forecast management across customer and product targets
  • Work closely with Finance, Commercial, and wider Sky Group teams to ensure we are working towards shared value and growth targets, as well as help prioritise key activities
  • Remove inefficiency and duplication in reporting using the latest tools where required (e.g. Tableau, Adobe), by working closely with our data and insights teams

What you’ll bring:

  • A passion for TV Content
  • An analytical and data insight background (Tableau experience or equivalent essential)
  • Highly numerate and analytical combined with excellent communication skills to present findings in written, PowerPoint, spreadsheet, and verbal format to senior stakeholders
  • Experienced in fast paced work environments with large & complex data sets, delivering quick decision making that is commercially sensible and simple to understand
  • Self-starter able to identify trends, issues and challenges – a real get up and go attitude to tackle issues head on and who responds positively to change and/or ambiguity
  • Brilliant collaborator able to work across a matrix organisation with the product owners
  • Credible and able to present work up to the Trading Lead and Head of Trading Performance

The Team:

The role will sit in NOW’s Performance and Planning team within the wider Sky Consumer Customer Growth department. More specifically the role will report into the Performance Lead who is responsible for end-to-end net growth forecasting and performance management across all routes to market.
