Trainee - Sky Studios Elstree

As part of The Future Talent Programme, we’re looking for a Trainee to report into the Client Services and Operations teams and be the primary point of contact for clients coming into the studio.
The Future Talent Programme is a 12-month paid placement (fixed term contract) based at Sky Studios Elstree. Our aim is that the programme will boost your prospects, develop your contact base and give you a great starting knowledge of the industry that will help kick start your career in Film and TV. Our Talent Manager will support you through the programme with goal setting and development opportunities throughout the year.
The focus of this role is to provide administrative support across all departmental areas, gaining an in-depth understanding of the requirements and expectations that HETV and Feature Film productions have when shooting at a world-class studio facility. During this 12 month placement you will spend 6 months with each of our Client Service and Operations teams.

What you’ll do:
Support the Client Services team / Operations teams in the delivery of a first-class client experience to all Sky Studio Elstree users and visitors.
Provide administrative and scheduling support to the Client Services / Operations team, through the entry, maintenance and updating of key client information to the studio resource management system and any other operational programmes as directed.
Provide administrative support to the Client Services / Operations team across all aspects of client services and general tasks including taking calls, memo drafting, calendar maintenance, meeting and recce coordination and disseminating studio information to production teams and departments.
Support in the tracking of client activity and billing across main packages, add-on’s, exchanges, PO’s, sub-rentals, missing/damaged equipment and returns to keep all aspects of our business up-to-date and successful.
Continuously collate and update client demand and new business leads, as required by Client Services team.
Assist as required with the Operations and Facilities teams to ensure studio facilities are prepared for client arrival, client needs are met.
Support in the preparation and dissemination of relevant studio call sheets, production summary reports, work orders, required site reports, visitor lists, passes and any other relevant notifications for all Sky Studio Elstree departments as required.
Support in the collation of client/production feedback.
Order and maintain consumables and relevant supplies.
Continuously strive to ensure sustainability across all productions using Sky Studio Elstree, providing relevant guidance and business support wherever possible.
Ad hoc tasks as requested by management.
What you’ll bring:
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently with confidence.
Proactive and solution orientated approach with high focus on delivery; quick to respond/act.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, superior organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to respond to and manage multiple conflicting requests simultaneously, working in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in Film & TV production process.
Strong computer literacy across Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook; ability to learn and adapt to multiple production/facility systems.
Customer service experience.
