Associate Producer - Sky Sports - Multi-Sport
Sky Sports are looking to recruit a Associate Producer to join our Multi-Sport team. This individual will creates a final programme by taking creative and editorial decisions and/or providing editorial support in areas such as sport statistics, newsroom management or radio / digital journalism. Develops, writes and edits production scripts.
As a professional, be a source of expertise and knowledge for junior team members OR as a manager, set priorities for your team and coordinate their work. Solve complex problems within your area, coordinating with others outside of it if needed. Work with oversight from your manager. Lead on projects or parts of projects.
What You’ll Do:
- Support Producers working to deliver live and non-live content across the Multi Sport portfolio
- This will include Darts, Boxing, Rugby League, Tennis and Netball
- Produce live content via different workflows: OB’s, galleries, streams
- Understand business priorities and be able to make content decisions accordingly
- Manage relationships with talent and other internal and external stakeholders
- Create an inclusive culture in your team, fostering great relationships, encouraging creativity and enabling great work.
What You’ll Bring:
- Interest in and knowledge of a wide range of sport
- In-depth knowledge and experience of multi-platform production techniques
- Strong editorial decision making
- Creativity and a drive to make world-class content.
- Active listening and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively and lead others under pressure, react quickly and meet tight deadlines in all environments
- Willing to work weekends and shift patterns
