We believe in better. And we make it happen.

Better content. Better products. And better careers.

Working in Tech, Product or Data at Sky is about building the next and the new. From broadband to broadcast, streaming to mobile, SkyQ to Sky Glass, we never stand still. We optimise and innovate.

We turn big ideas into the products, content and services millions of people love.

And we do it all right here at Sky.

What you'll do

  • Work with Business Transformation Lead and Service/Product Owners to design and produce engaging communication and transformation collateral (digital and print) using our branding and tone of voice!
  • Create content that people will read and engage with. From a one-off email to a full communication campaign working with internal and external stakeholders. Your content will reach nearly every corner of Sky, as you work with colleagues across Sky Group (in Germany, Italy, and Portugal).
  • Turn your innovative ideas into reality, helping people to better understand Group Workplace Solutions and the services it offers to the business.
  • Create, maintain, and update Group Workplace Solution’s intranet pages, working with Service/Product Owners to refresh content as required. You will also get stuck into strategic pieces of work to benefit Group Workplace Solutions, often working with Heads of business areas and the Director.
  • Build, write, and send variations of functional newsletters, including sourcing content monthly sympathetic to brand. Work with Italian and German counterparts to prepare local versions for those territories.
  • You’ll challenge the way that we do things. Your ideas will be listened to and will help form our communication and transformation strategy. You’ll also be a key player in the transformation of our wider team’s intranet presence.

What you'll bring

  • You’ll have experience of working in internal and/or external communications, either within an agency, consultancy, or internal role. You may have experience of working in a business consultancy or transformation role with a communication focus.
  • You find it easy to create compelling content with a laser focus on keeping your audience informed and interested. This could be putting together an All-Hands deck, or a campaign that reaches everyone at Sky.
  • You may be a user of Adobe Creative Cloud in particular, InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop. It is nice if you have Knowledge of working with Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, or other video editing software.
  • You’re a Conran in the making with a good eye for design, strong layout and typography skills, and a keen eye for detail. You also know your way around modern SharePoint.
  • You’ve got original, creative ideas about how to make messages and campaigns reach and engage a large workforce.
  • You’re a pro-active person with a willingness to multi-task and you understand the need to be flexible and adaptable. Sometimes you’ll have to undertake tasks not directly linked with your core job description.

Inclusion & how you'll work

Recognised by The Times and Stonewall, we take pride in our approach to diversity and inclusion. Investing in society, fighting racial injustice and setting ambitious targets for representation at Sky.

We’ve embraced hybrid working and split our time between unique office spaces and the convenience of working from home. You’ll find out more about what hybrid working looks like for your role later on in the recruitment process.

Your office space

Osterley

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.

On campus, you’ll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafes, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed, and even get pampered at our beauty salon.

We'd love to hear from you

Inventive, forward-thinking minds come together to work in Tech, Product and Data at Sky. It’s a place where you can explore what if, how far, and what next.

But better doesn’t stop at what we do, it’s how we do it, too. We embrace each other’s differences. We support our community and contribute to a sustainable future for our business and the planet.

If you believe in better, we’ll back you all the way.

Just so you know: if your application is successful, we’ll ask you to complete a criminal record check. And depending on the role you have applied for and the nature of any convictions you may have, we might have to withdraw the offer.
