Change Business Analyst

The Change and Delivery team is the driving force behind new initiatives in Sky’s Business-to-Business function. We’re the team that takes Strategic Growth initiatives, such as a new proposition, product, customer channel or customer service initiative, and works cross-functionally to define, plan and deliver high quality solutions.

We work across the whole business to bring innovative, high-quality and customer-centric broadband, phone, and Sky TV services to businesses large and small across the UK. You will be working on high-profile projects at pace, leading to great exposure and a huge sense of achievement when we deliver for the business and our customers.

You will be at the centre of new and exciting projects working with stakeholders across the business to analyse, scope and shape the requirements ensuring that we fully understand the change required to deliver the target outcomes for the customer, employee and the business."

What you'll do:
 

• Provide business analysis support throughout the project lifecycle including stakeholder identification, scope definition and operational impact assessments
• Create and manage the analysis approach and plan that defines, monitors, and tracks activities and timings to support successful project delivery
• Support Business Owners in the production of New Work Requests, ensuring scope statements, business cases and measurable benefits are clearly articulated
• Schedule, plan and facilitate meetings and workshops with SMEs from across Sky Business Services to document business requirements from initiation through to warranty and operational readiness.
• Present analysis in an agile way in the form of “as is & to be” processes, gap analysis, epics and user stories.
• Drive UAT Test phase feeding in and reviewing test scenarios, ensuring any defects are tracked and investigated, escalating issues and risks where there is impact on delivery
• Support Learning & Development and Operational go-live teams with relevant key information to ensure excellent customer and employee experience at go live
• Document business handover at project closure defining key information such as workaround processes for business as usual, feed into lessons learned and best practice.
• Help to continually review our analysis framework and look for ways to improve the practice within Change & Delivery

What you'll bring:
 

• Strong analysis toolkit with knowledge and experience of core analysis activities such as customer journeys, gap analysis, epics and user stories
• Working knowledge of the full project lifecycle with practical experience in interpreting business requirements and presenting them to all stakeholders including both Business and Technology teams in a way that they can easily interpret and understand
• You’re curious and a natural collaborator. You love bringing people together and working with them to find all the pieces of the puzzle and delivering a solution that works for everyone
• Sky Business Services takes pride in customer experience, so you’ll need to have a passion for delivering excellence for customers on every project
• This role leads to great exposure across the business, so you’ll be comfortable building and managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels and can communicate with confidence
