As Voice Channel Strategy Lead, you will play a lead role in owning, defining and delivering the future strategy across Voice Route to Market. You will be responsible for the next evolution of Voice by developing and implementing initiatives that add value to, and expand / enhance existing route to market channels and support our digital ambition moving forward.

The team will need to be highly collaborative and dynamic, committed to continually challenge the status quo to find new opportunities to drive better outcomes for customers and Sky.

What you'll do:

Voice strategy

  • Lead on development of a pan Voice RTM strategy in line with objectives and underpinned by customer, product & competitor insights. Initial areas of focus: Overall OBTM Strategy & Planning – how do we double revenue in this channel? How we ramp ASM /reduce call contacts and Overall Mobile in Voice – what is the right set-up? Working closely with the verticals / trading to create valuable initiatives that support shared customer and commercial critical metrics
  • Provide leadership and direction on approach to development of cases, working closely with commercial & finance teams, considering both broader business and bottom line financial benefits and risk

Go to Market Strategy

  • Own the GTM approach for initiatives and customer experience changes generated by this team and define detailed requirements for delivery of these, sponsoring delivery of the change within our area, working closely with the Voice RTMs , Change & Capability, verticals, digital, billing, and customer service group.

Future focussed

  • Develop your own perspective on how the Voice estate will evolve in the future and how we crafted a 3 year plan to ensure that the business is best positioned to capitalise on opportunity and mitigate risk

  • Run, encourage and develop a hard-working and motivated in team, delivering consistently with a strong people focus
  • Eensure that the Sky behaviours are embedded within the team, inclusive of equal opportunities and the diversity agenda
  • Actively manage direct reports and provide one-to-one coaching and mentoring to stretch and develop.

What you'll bring:

  • Strategic attitude – you will have expert understanding of the market landscape and be able to formulate plans to achieve a set of defined goals / objectives
  • Great problem-solving skills – comfortable with thinking about a problem and providing plausible & creative solutions
  • Confidence in communicating and story-telling – will be working with teams across the organisation and engaging at a senior level up to Exec. Capable at creating and delivering compelling presentations
  • Ability to inspire and influence cross functional teams at Director level and above
  • Insight-led approach – able to take insight from research and turn into new propositions / proposition updates, delivered through team
  • Commercial competence – can build and challenge cases, with good excel proficiency
  • Project Management skills– able to manage and work with the wider business to launch new products/features
  • Delivery Experience – has a proven track record in a previous strategy or propositions or roles. Able to succeed in a high-profile, pressurised environment where multiple high-profile projects are managed at once
