Content Producer - Football

An exciting opportunity to play a leading role in the creation of Sky Sports Football content. The Content Producer - Football will be responsible for the ideation, production and distribution of football content across all Sky platforms as well as line managing Content Creators.

You will be required to provide clear direction and cultivate a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, inclusion and innovation 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the ideation and creation of Sky Sports Football content across all Sky platforms to fully unlock and utilise our EFL and Section K Premier League access.
• Lead the distribution of Sky Sports Football content across live linear, SSN, social and digital platforms.
• Work closely with Executive Producers, access managers, content creators and reporters to produce world class linear and digital /social PL content.
• Work closely with Matchday Reporters on editorial features and interviews.

• Build relationships with clubs over content ideation and content sharing.
• Line manager Football Content Creators.
• Develop key working relationships with Senior stakeholders across Sport and the business, promoting the sharing of ideas and information, ensuring cross-functional collaboration, and promoting the sharing/pooling of resources/teams where appropriate.

Your skills:

• A knowledge and passion for Football.
• Prior experience of producing world class content.
• Good knowledge of broadcast and digital content creation.
• Strong editorial and creative judgement.
• Knowledge of Sky Business
• Ability to think on your feet and solve problems under time pressure.
• Strong English Language and written skills.
• Candidates need passion, stamina, enthusiasm, creativity, and determination. You should be self-motivated and adaptable – and demonstrate strong people skills.
