This role is an exciting opportunity to work within Billing Assurance in our Data Analytics team. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail orientated individual to join our team and help ensure that Sky customers are billed accurately for their products and services. The Data Analytics team play a crucial role in supporting the Customer and Cost Assurance teams by facilitating and managing the exploration and creation of data analytics and produce assurance dashboards to support our teams and allow them to effectively and efficiently carry out their roles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams across the business.

What you’ll do:

  • Effectively gather and understand requirements for data led solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy to the Billing Assurance teams.

  • Create dynamic and engaging dashboards which utilise data that tell a story and allow our Customer and Cost Assurance teams to carry out their roles efficiently and effectively.

  • Work with other areas of the business in identifying and implementing data solutions to resolve billing problems. Ensuring that our data analytics and dashboard capabilities meet our stakeholders needs.

  • Create clear and compelling communication materials to convey data backed purpose, benefits, and impacts of changes and issues to various audiences.

  • Generate regular reports for stakeholders. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of new processes, dashboards and reporting artifacts, gathering feedback and adjusting as needed.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to documenting solutions and version control of code sets and reporting artifacts.

  • Prioritise key tasks and projects while still being able to shift to ad hoc tasks when required to provide data analysis support

What you’ll bring:

  • A real passion for data analytics, being able to manipulate large sets of complex data and bring this to life with engaging and informative visualisations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present finding back to all levels of stakeholders. (Including senior management)

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

  • A strong data analysis background and experience of implementing data led solutions to resolve issues.

  • Enquiring mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for knowledge. An appetite to learn and be dedicated to self-development. Enthusiastic in contributing to departmental improvement.

  • The ability to think creatively and pursue your own ideas.

  • Although advantageous to have experience with data manipulation tools such as SQL, GCP, and Python, this is not essential to someone who has ambition and with dedicated self-development will apply themselves to grow their skills in this area.
