External Strategy Manager (Debt Management)

“As our External Strategy Manager in the debt management team, you’ll be responsible for reviewing the performance of a panel of debt collection agencies and proposing changes to maximise our recoveries, whilst ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.” – Debt Recovery Manager, Kat McIntosh

What you'll do:

• In depth evaluation of performance metrics for Sky’s panel of debt collection agencies and purchasers
• Identify areas of improvement to maximise recovery rates and drive efficiency
• Communicate findings and potential solutions with senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams (finance, procurement etc.) to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
• Support end-to-end delivery of changes alongside a team of analysts.

What you'll bring:

• Comprehensive knowledge of the debt industry and how it operates
• Extensive experience in debt performance analytics and reporting, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collate and interpret data to make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with experience of influencing and managing senior stakeholders.
• Pro-actively self-manage with a focus on quality of delivery within agreed timescales.
• Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Business or a related field preferred.
