Field Resource Coordinator - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
The Data Centre and Field Operation teams are responsible for the installation and ongoing maintenance of network infrastructure across Data Centres, Points of Presence (POPs), and BT Exchanges — ensuring seamless delivery of Sky services throughout the UK.
What You’ll Do:
Coordinate and manage scheduling activities to support field engineering teams using Field Managed Services (FSM).
Allocate work efficiently based on geographic location, travel time, job requirements, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to align resource planning with operational and project timelines.
Monitor progress and proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or delivery risks.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning, scheduling, and delivery efficiency.
What You’ll Bring:
Proven organisational and communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats.
Experience working in fast paced operational, delivery, or scheduling environments, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands.
Experience using geographic or location-based planning approaches to support efficient work allocation.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and scheduling platforms such as ServiceNow with the ability to maintain accurate and high-quality task and workflow data.
Demonstrated knowledge and some experience using Spark to support operational and scheduling activities, ensuring accurate recordkeeping, workflow continuity, and effective management of changes and incidents.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders, supporting clear communication and informed operational decision making.

The hybrid working expectations for this role are 2 days in the office per week and based in Osterley or Slough. Our Osterley campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town and Ealing Broadway tube stations. There’s also plenty of parking, bike shelters and showers.
