HR Investigations Assistant / Notetaker (12 Months FTC/Secondment)

The HR Investigations team are responsible for investigating our most complex and high-risk cases, including bullying, sexual harassment, victimisation, and discrimination allegations. This role involves providing a high level of quality support to our HR Investigations team, specifically accurately capturing investigation meeting notes and summaries with a focus on relevant employment legislation (in particular relating to discrimination and harassment). Alongside this, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the HR Investigations team and / or wider Employee Relations team.
What you’ll do:
Note Taking: Attend highly sensitive and confidential meetings to accurately and concisely document discussions, decisions and action points through “summary” style notes. Transform detailed information into clear, actionable summary style notes, ensuring all critical points are captured with a high degree of accuracy, and promptly share with the relevant stakeholder
Administrative Support: Assist in general administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and maintaining electronic filing systems. Input and update information within the relevant systems/spreadsheets with a high level of accuracy. Perform data verification and ensure data integrity
Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to support the wider team, offering assistance and contributing to team objectives as required i.e. supporting data collation for litigation
Confidentiality: Given the sensitive and potentially emotive nature of those meetings maintaining confidentiality during discussions, meetings, and interactions with colleagues, customers and other stakeholders
Develop & Maintain Legislative Knowledge: Develop an understanding of relevant employment law & legislations in order to capture key details during investigation meetings
Professional Standards & Confidentiality: As a key role within our investigation meetings it is of paramount importance that the person in this role maintains high levels of confidentiality and professional standards both within the meeting itself and in completing their work afterwards. The meetings they will attend may be highly emotive in nature
What you'll bring:
Previous experience in administrative support role, note taking is essential
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in notetaking and data entry
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office software
Ability to multi-task, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain the security and confidentiality of sensitive material
