We’re looking for an enthusiastic iOS Developer to help shape the future of the Sky Sports and Sky News apps, reaching millions of users across UK, Germany and Italy. You will be joining a friendly, established cross-platform team building world-class mobile experiences that keep our audiences informed and entertained.

What you'll do

• You will work in a cross platform mobile team to deliver new features, and iterate on, the existing Sky Sports and News apps.

• You will focus on iOS development, bringing a solid background in good code quality and unit testing.

• Work on exciting new feature development expanding the Sky Sports and News apps to offer better product experiences to our users.

• You will work within an agile team environment alongside Android developers and automation test engineers

• Involved in maintain the release cadence and working towards continuous delivery

• Monitor app releases and reporting to create a reliable product

• On-call support (rota) to ensure app stability and timely resolution of live issues

What you'll bring

• Good experience with native iOS development using Swift – demonstrated through professional experience, open-source contributions, or substantial personal projects.

• Familiarity with unit testing using XCTest, and a commitment to writing reliable, maintainable code.

• Clear communication skills in English, with the ability to share ideas and updates confidently in a team setting.

• Some knowledge of software engineering standard methodologies and non-functional requirements.

• Good problem-solving instincts and curiosity — you enjoy figuring things out and learning as you go.

• Understanding of Agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) — or a willingness to learn and grow in that environment.

• Experience using Git for version control — whether in a team or on your own projects.

• Nice to have: any exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript or cross-platform development is welcome but not required.
