Marketing Performance Lead - 12 Month FTC

The Marketing Performance Lead plays a pivotal role in driving overall marketing effectiveness by aligning media, digital performance, and commercial priorities. This person will work alongside the Media Team as well as closely with trading & commercial teams to optimise marketing activity, improve performance outcomes, and provide clear insights to guide strategic decision-making.

This person should have a strong understanding of the digital media, performance marketing, measurement, and an ability to work on multiple projects under pressure and to tight deadlines.

This is a 12 month maternity cover. You must be available to start immediately.

What You’ll Do: 

• Drive overall marketing performance by identifying what media and marketing activity delivers results and sharing clear insights across the business.

• Own the media and marketing measurement framework, including analytics, attribution, econometrics and test-and-learn approaches.

• Lead econometrics projects to inform sales drivers and optimise media investment allocation.

• Establish best-practice, data-led planning by integrating insights from econometrics, segmentation, market data, SOV forecasting and campaign evaluation.

• Partner closely with trading and commercial teams to align marketing activity with weekly business priorities and performance.

• Lead digital media strategy across paid media channels to drive digital performance improvement. Drive best practice with in-depth knowledge of PPC.

• Deliver marketing transformation initiatives, including data, technology and AI, while working closely with the Head of Media and senior stakeholders.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience in Senior marketing roles (agency side or client side with strong media experience), with substantial experience in digital/ performance media including PPC & measurement.

• Brilliant collaborator – ability to work across teams and countries with impeccable stakeholder management skills within complex matrix organisations

• Confidently presents to senior stakeholders at Sky, earning trust and support to drive key KPIs

• Strong analytical and commercial acumen and understanding of how to deliver business impact and ROI

The Marketing team is responsible for driving the brand and growth strategy for Ireland across media, digital, sponsorship and creative.
