The Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the relationship with our Retailer stakeholders. This role involves ensuring that Retailer meets sales targets, adheres to company policies, and represents our brand effectively in the market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, sales, and relationship building within the telecommunications industry.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Sky and the Retailer.

  • Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with the Retailer leadership and field sales teams.

  • Conduct regular meetings and check-ins to discuss performance, address concerns, and align on strategies.

  • Set clear sales targets and objectives in collaboration with the Retailer

  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

  • Provide regular performance reports and feedback to both internal stakeholders and the Retailer

  • Ensure that the Retailer has comprehensive knowledge of Sky's products and services.

  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions to keep the Retailer updated on new products, promotions, and sales techniques.

  • Identify skill gaps and work with the Retailer to address them through targeted training programs

  • Ensure that the sales agency complies with all Sky policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to maintain high standards of customer interaction and brand representation.

  • Address any compliance issues promptly and work with the Retailer to implement corrective actions

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth and market penetration through the the Retailer.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, etc.) to align sales strategies with company objectives.

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities to enhance the partnership and expand the Retailers impact.

  • Act as the escalation point for any issues or disputes between Sky and the Retailer.

  • Resolve conflicts in a timely and effective manner, ensuring minimal disruption to sales activities.

  • Implement proactive measures to prevent future issues and improve the overall partnership.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably in the telecommunications industry.

  • Proven track record of managing third-party relationships and achieving sales targets.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

  • Full driver’s license needed and the ability to travel nationwide.

How you'll work:

Your office base:

This role will primarily be field based travelling to our partnership locations. We expect you will spend one day per week in our Dublin Office to meet with internal teams to foster collaboration and face to face interaction with your team and peers

Our striking Ireland HQ has an A-list location on Burlington Road, walking distance from central Dublin. Grand Canal Dock and Pearse train stations are both around 1.5km away, and we’re a short stroll from the buses of Baggot Street, Leeson Street and Waterloo Road. There’s plenty of parking for cyclists and drivers, too!
