The Risk Analyst will play a pivotal role in helping to deliver effective risk management throughout the organisation and across multiple European territories. The ideal candidate will have an inquisitive mind and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to interpret data and delve into the detail to understand gaps and opportunities. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment at the intersection of technology, media, and entertainment.

This is an exciting time of expansion for the Risk Team, where the successful candidate for this new role will play an active part in building new relationships and growing the team’s influence across territories.

What you'll do:

  • Help deliver effective risk management: work with key stakeholders to identify, assess, treat, and monitor risks, to enhance decision making and build organisational resilience.

  • Monitoring and reporting: prepare regular risk reports for senior management and deliver risk updates across the different forums. Help maintain the organisation’s risk register by keeping action plans up to date, monitoring key risk indicators, and spotting emerging trends.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: collaborate closely with internal teams, including Operations, Compliance, Legal, Product, and Finance, to integrate risk management considerations into business operations.

  • Process improvement: Act as a key contact for risk related incidents and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of NOW's risk management framework.

  • Business Continuity Planning: help organise regular crisis scenario exercises across the European territories and keep the Business Continuity Plan up to date with the key business contacts / critical activities

What you'll bring:

  • A passion for great content and a drive to create the best customer experience.

  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Proven experience in risk management, preferably within the media, entertainment, or technology sectors.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively analyse complex data and information to identify trends, patterns, and risks.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts and risk implications to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making processes.

  • Highly organised, adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently, and demonstrates meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of their work.

Team Overview:

The Resilience Team which sits within NOW Operations, are looking to recruit for a new Risk Analyst to join the expanding team. They will work closely with colleagues across Sky’s European OTT propositions to ensure the best possible experience for our customers.
