As Organisation Design Manager, you’ll play a key role in the strategic workforce delivery at Sky. You’ll support in developing and embedding Sky’s workforce plan as well as the development of Sky’s future skills & capabilities to ensure the business is set up for success, challenging the status quo and continually bringing the “outside-in” to drive innovation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate effectively with the Strategic Workforce team and wider People directorate to understand and embed Sky’s People strategy.

  • Embed pragmatic and practical actions to support the delivery of the strategic workforce plan and people strategy.

  • Translate theory and insight into practical action by contributing to business cases, making them compelling through evidence and tracking measurable business outcomes.

  • Provide challenge and support to the business and people partners using organisational data and insights to identify opportunities to drive workforce improvements.

  • Understand and instil best practice across strategic workforce planning, org development & effectiveness and its associated tools.

  • Efficiently visualise and present data-driven insights to stakeholders, using the right techniques to decode complex data structures into consumable insight.

  • Encourage collaboration between the teams and find opportunities to build once across the markets, whilst also understanding the nuances of the various markets.

  • Blend technical expertise with good interpersonal skills – drive collaboration between strategic workforce delivery team and other teams from across all Sky to drive the best solution.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Multi-disciplinary experience; combining strategic workforce planning and data analytics, with supporting experience in organisation development and effectiveness.

  • Deep experience in strategic workforce planning with demonstrable experience in delivering complex plans for global organisations and taking part in the development of People strategies off the back of the insights developed.

  • Good experience in org development and effectiveness with the ability to independently lead discrete pieces of work with limited oversight and be seen as an expert in this field.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience in managing group exec-level expectations and delivering their outcomes.

  • Communication: competent storyteller and being able to translate “people” speak to “business” speak at a mid to senior level; being able to communicate the impact of actions in a way that is meaningful to the business leader and enables their business objectives 

  • Strong data analysis: bringing external insights in to Sky and communicating these to the Strategic Workforce Delivery Manager and wider team to drive performance improvement.

  • Impact and influence: ability to identify high impact business cases for change, which are evidence based and compelling, socialise and finesse with the strategic workforce team, external stakeholders and affected business colleagues.
