Partnerships Lead – Affiliates & Partnerships

The Partnerships Lead is responsible for managing our affiliate programme across TV, Broadband and Mobile, including building and nurturing long-term relationships with affiliates, networks and price comparison partners. This role sits in the Affiliates team within Digital Marketing, reporting to the Head of Affiliates.
What you’ll do:
Strategy: Help develop the strategic direction for our affiliates channel across all products
Build partnerships: Build strategic relationships with key affiliate partners and networks to ensure Sky is their preferred partner, and ensure we can influence their plans/roadmaps
Manage programme: Negotiate commission structures and commercial terms that deliver value, own affiliate budget and ensure we are utilising spend effectively
Inspire change and delivery: Identify new strategic opportunities for the channel, and work with key internal/external partners to deliver
Team management: develop and manage two direct reports, ensuring clear goals, objectives and career development plans are in place
Be a champion for affiliates: Continuously share and educate peers across the business, represent the team at industry events
What you'll bring:
Commercial mindset - Solid working understanding of key performance indicators and how these are to be used when making decisions and recommendations.
Strong communicator - Able to communicate confidently up to Director level with excellent presentation skills (written and verbal)
Brilliant collaborator – excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with partners and stakeholders
Proactive - able to continually critique and optimise performance and solve issues with a positive mind-set
Team management - Experience in coaching and manging individuals
