Role/Team overview

Our Product Management team works closely with our design, delivery and business teams to create an unforgettable experience for our customers. From streaming products like NOW, to providing smart entertainment products like Sky Glass and Sky Go, and creating unforgettable Connected Living experiences, we’re the problem solvers who find smarter and simpler ways to connect customers to more of what they love.

What you'll do

• Evaluate and drive performance of our Sports and “Beyond TV” experiences, using analytics & insight to influence strategy for rolling out best-in-class features that delight our customers
• Drive data-driven decision making around expansion and aggregation of Sports, gaming and music content across Global TV platforms and providers
• Define what “good” looks like and how we measure success for our Sports products, helping us craft world-class content discovery and live viewing experiences that keep fans coming back for more
• Collaborate with our global technology partners and lead development & utilisation of Globally scalable data capabilities and reporting solutions to ensure product performance data is readily accessible to all product decision makers

What you'll bring

• Subject Matter Expert: A deep understanding of the customer experience, providing our partners with the insight they require to make optimisation, delivery & strategic decisions.
• Passion about the customer: A strong commitment to improving customer experiences by delivering actionable insight which understands usage and performance of our products.
• SQL & Technical Skills: Advanced skills in using SQL (or similar analytical language) to draw actionable insights and manage datasets, with experience in BigQuery data modelling and clustering as a plus.
• Data Visualisation & Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex datasets into clear visualisations and simplify concepts into actionable insights.
• Influence Through Insight: Strong presentation skills to deliver findings in a clear, persuasive narrative to influence stakeholders and build trust as an advisor.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Proven ability to develop effective relationships across various roles and levels of seniority.
• Analytical Problem-Solving: Clear, logical thinking and an acute attention to detail with experience in scoping approaches to answer business questions via data analysis.
• Curiosity & Industry Awareness: A proactive drive to continuously develop skills coupled with a keen interest in industry trends.
• Driving Automation: Previous experience of transforming analytics outputs into automated capabilities and processes preferable.
• Time Management & Agility: Exceptional organisation skills to manage tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

How you’ll work  

We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are X days in the office per week.  

Your office base   

Osterley
Our Sky Group HQ. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and workspaces, there’s plenty of space to see your big ideas come to life. Here you’ll find 13 subsidised restaurants and cafes. You can re-energise at our gym, catch the latest films at our cinema, get your car washed and even get pampered at our beauty salon.  

Our Osterley Campus is just a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station, or you can get one of our free shuttle buses from Osterley, Gunnersbury and Ealing Broadway stations. Plus, there’s free onsite parking available for cars, motorbikes and bicycles. 

Livingston Watermark  

Sky Watermark is our central site for Livingston, sitting between Glasgow and Edinburgh. With vibrant office spaces, chill-out areas, and an onsite canteen, it’s a great place to work and connect.  

The nearest train station is Livingston North. A Sky shuttle bus runs between the station and campus every 20 minutes throughout the day. Plus, there’s onsite parking available for cars, motorbikes and bicycles. 

Leeds Whitehall  

Leeds Whitehall is home to our Digital Tech hub and Contact Centre teams. With vibrant office spaces, chill-out areas, a multi-faith room and restaurant, it’s a great place to work and connect. We’re located just a 10-minute walk from the train station and there’s a bus stop directly outside the office.
