Programme Communications Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Programme Communications Manager to join our Finance Transformation programme team at SKY. This team aims to restructure and refine our financial operations by aligning them with our evolving business strategy, developing a comprehensive operating model, and fostering an agile and innovative culture. In this dynamic environment, your role will be pivotal in ensuring clear, concise, and impactful messaging across all levels of the organisation.

What you’ll do:

• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive communications strategy in alignment with our Finance Transformation programme.
• Engage closely with senior leaders and project teams to ensure clear and consistent messaging on the programme's progress and changes.
• Craft compelling narratives and messages for different audience segments, effectively translating the programme's strategic aims into understandable and engaging content.
• Plan, edit, and write content for various internal communication mediums such as staff intranet, email bulletins, videos and more.
• Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and departments within the organisation.
• Manage internal communications channels, including the intranet, email announcements, digital signage, videos and regular events.
• Monitor feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly to foster better understanding and engagement.
• Handle internal communication responses to crisis situations affecting organisational perception and reputation.
• Advise senior executives on developments throughout the organisation, including employee sentiment and feedback.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience as a Communications Manager, within a programme, project or change management team.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills - Office 365 skills a must.
• Ability to develop and execute a strategic communication plan.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; capable of working with cross-functional teams and various levels of management.
• Proficient in multi-channel communications and asset development.
• Knowledge of the ADKAR change management model.
• Familiarity with the complexities of organisational transformation projects and the ability to communicate effectively in a changing environment.

• Certification in a recognised communications methodology or change management (ADKAR) would be an advantage.
