Project Manager - 12 months FTC

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As Project Manager, you’ll be a project delivery expert. You’ll use your practiced project management skills to plan the delivery of a complex programme and programme workstreams. You’ll champion the voice of the customer and ensure change lands effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent planning and risk management skills and ideally background in a Finance environment or demonstrated knowledge of financial processes. This role is pivotal in driving positive change within our organisation. 

We operate a hybrid model with 3 days a week in the office in our Osterley or 2 days in Watermark locations.

What you'll do:

• Manage and drive detailed planning of workstreams within a complex programme, from the early stage of Discovery to the final implementation.
• Plan and manage multiple workstreams across multi-disciplinary teams working in close collaboration with teams across a wide variety of business areas.
• Ensure management of scope is clearly defined in collaboration with relevant project stakeholders.
• Exercise all the attributes expected within the role including scope management, plan management, budgetary control, change control, risk, dependency and issue management.
• Provide structure and guidance to the project and to be the calm voice of reason within the delivery to ensure the focus is on the key priorities.
• Build and maintain strong and collaborative relationships with Senior Stakeholders across the business, within and out with Finance Delivery and to be seen as a trusted delivery resource.
• Ensure there is effective project reporting including maintaining appropriately detailed project plans and adherence to established governance and reporting processes.
• Build knowledge of the Finance Delivery landscape and function so that you can clearly articulate and manage the context of the delivery to ensure it is aligned to the overall strategy.

What you'll bring:

• A proven track record of leading the delivery of complex work streams and projects across multiple business areas with the ability to flex approach, work independently and use initiative within a fast-paced delivery environment.
• Strong senior stakeholder management skills: building relationships with the ability to facilitate decision making and escalation of risks, with proven experience of working effectively and proactively with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work with high level direction, independently progressing project shaping, set up and delivery.
• Strong understanding of project delivery best practices and how to project manage to high standards.
• Previous experience working within a Finance environment, with demonstrated knowledge of Financial Processes

Osterley or Livingston

Osterley:

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
On campus, you’ll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafes, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed and even get pampered at our beauty salon. 

Livingston Watermark House:

Our lively campus is a free shuttle bus away from Livingston North train station and the town centre. Plus there’s onsite parking available for cars, motorbikes and bicycles.
