SAP Role Process Specialist (6 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Working with a third party, who specialises in the field, the individual will review, rebuild and implement a revised segregation of duties model in SAP.
What you’ll do:
You’ll be accountable for reviewing and modifying the design of segregation of duties in SAP to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Areas of work include:
Project management Collaborate with IT, audit, and finance teams to enforce access policies and improve role design
Review role assignment and maintenance processes.
Perform access risk analysis
What you’ll bring:
Familiarity with compliance requirements such as SOX, internal audit, or ITGCs.
Experience with reviewing and modifying segregation of duties in SAP
Experience of Pathlock Separations Enforcer, SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) or similar tools for managing SoD reviews and ensuring compliance.
Understanding of Business Processes: A deep understanding of business processes and potential conflicts is crucial for effective role design and risk mitigation.
Excellent analytical skills to identify and analyse access risks and make informed decisions.
High attention to detail to ensure that roles are designed and assigned correctly, and that reviews are thorough and accurate.
Team overview:
Finance is providing the back office financial services to the organisation, with the delivery through Global Finance Operations. The Global Process Ownership function is accountable for the transformation of end-to-end services in Purchase to Pay (P2P), Order to cash (O2C) and Account to Report (A2R), as well as policy ownership for key policies such as the delegation of authority, segregation of duties and Travel and Expenses.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
