Team overview:
The Advanced Analytics team within Consumer Strategy are at the forefront of understanding consumers and creating actionable insight about their behaviours, attitudes and needs. This consumer intelligence helps deliver a better experience and service to consumers and improves marketing performance. We have a considerable team with a variety of specialist skills including analytics, research, insight consultancy and econometrics and have a very extensive and deep stakeholder base across 30+ areas of Sky, covering every subject – from market & prospect headroom through to customer retention and everything in between!
What you’ll do:
As a Senior Insight Analyst in the Advanced Analytics team in Consumer Strategy, you’ll be responsible for driving best in class insights through analytics, helping shape decisions using the power of data and insights:
Deliver high-quality analytical insights across key business areas (TV, NOW, Connectivity, VIP) to influence strategic and commercial decisions.
Work with stakeholders and senior team members to refine questions, shape analysis, and ensure outputs are aligned to business needs.
Take ownership of work delivered, ensuring accuracy and robustness.
Apply appropriate analytical techniques to behavioural, research and market data using tools like SQL, R and Python to answer business questions and generate actionable insight.
Visualise insight findings in clear, structured presentations, communicating key messages and recommendations to stakeholders.
What you'll bring:
Proven experience of using SQL – writing queries from scratch to extract, manipulate, join and analyse data to answer business questions.
Experience progressing analytical work with a degree of independence - able to take a defined problem and drive it forward, knowing when and how to seek input.
Strong analytical thinking with experience of applying a range of techniques (e.g. segmentation, regression).
Ability to translate analysis into clear, structured insight, articulating the commercial implications and supporting actionable recommendations.
Confident communicator, able to present findings clearly and adapt messaging for different audiences.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing deadlines and balancing multiple priorities.

How you'll work:
We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.
