This experience will enable you to lead associated category initiatives (such as RFx, category strategies), including understanding and communicating industry trends, selecting vendors and driving associated negotiations at the most senior level both internally and externally, and executing optimal contracts.

Work closely and proactively with the business to identify new savings opportunities and efficiencies across managed spend.
  • Be capable of evaluating all options against all relevant factors i.e. technical, commercial, logistical, risk etc and recommending the best option to the business.
  • Drive standardized and centralized reporting (e.g. pricing, volumes, spend, savings, contracts, quarterly business reviews, etc.), support relevant category initiatives and coordinate with key stakeholders to drive global contracting across Sky.
  • Be able to work closely with procurement and business colleagues across the wider Group (team members are currently in UK, US, DE, India and ITA).

This also includes the capability to thrive in a dynamic setting and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relationship Management Skills: The ability to collaborate with others and build relationships across multiple business units across international geographies.
