We’re looking for an experienced linear channel scheduler with proven editorial flair to work across Sky Cinema’s portfolio of 11 channels. You’ll create, deliver and manage compelling monthly content plans, screen and recommend content to acquire that is right for Sky customers, and use market knowledge and trends to curate customer facing collections from a large library of movies. 

What you'll do:

  • Manage key programming information within BSS (Broadcast Support System) and Airtable, including up to date license period information including runs and exhibitions and on-demand availability where applicable.

  • Ensure we are fully exploiting content rights where possible – linear and on-demand.

  • Execute and communicate any changes to channel plans – resulting from duration changes, up to date compliance changes or rights adjustments.

  • Monthly scheduling of all programme episodes, taking into account editorial, compliance and license information.

  • Accurate input of monthly channel schedule into BSS.

  • Prepare plans ahead of forecasting process.

  • Track programme and channel performance via Techedge and weekly reports, use data to make informed scheduling decisions and advise senior stakeholders.

  • Identification of daily / weekly / monthly tactical schedule opportunities for linear and other platforms.

  • Plan editorial feedback where required, with an understanding of impact of wider portfolio strategies and applied broad knowledge of TV landscape.

The Content Team at Sky UK are responsible for commissioning, acquiring and planning content across our multiple content & channel brands including Sky Max, Sky Atlantic and Sky Cinema. The Content Strategy & Planning team ensures the commissioning and planning teams are supported by the best possible insight to make the right content decisions for customers.
