As a System Tester, you will be working as part of Central testing team. You will be working closely with Business, Project stakeholders and delivery teams to make sure System Integration and Functional testing is thoroughly covered.

What you'll do

• Be involved in Planning, estimation, and execution of System Testing activities with key focus on System Integration, Functional and Regression testing.

• Work closely with Project stakeholders, Product Owners/Leads to produce impact assessments for any changes.

• Hands on with Test execution and Test Scripting, supporting other testers and acting as a peer reviewer for preparation and execution stages of a release.

• Gain thorough understand of System Business and User journeys along with Integration endpoints across the systems.

• Create, manage and facilitate defect triage meetings.

• Participate and contribute towards test continuous improvement.

• Review and help develop the test automation framework, tooling, standards, and libraries etc for use across the teams to drive consistency.

What you'll bring

• Experience testing large enterprise systems with complex architecture and extensive experience of automated testing of RESTful APIs using Java and Cucumber

• Have knowledge and hands on experience of API testing - RESTful web services, RestTemplate in Spring, Restassured, JSON Path, BDD testing frameworks.

• Comprehensive understand of different testing types and their needs based on the changes in scope of testing.

• Experience working with both Front end and Back-end testing. Experience using Test and Defect Management tools e.g., Jira, Zephyr, Confluence etc.

• Excellent communication skills and able to lease confidently with a range of Internal and External stakeholder.

• Ability to demonstrate a depth of knowledge in End to End and System Integration testing within an agile environment and able to demonstrate previous successes. Be comfortable having technical conversations with developers and architects.

• A solid grasp of what an efficient CI/CD pipeline looks like

• Ability to build positive relationships and influence decisions with internal and external partners. Demonstrate how to build a culture of collaboration ensuring the development process delivers automated (Where required) acceptance tests.

Global Commerce are responsible for the Identity and Sales and Service platform within Global Streaming Technology, facilitating seamless customer experiences across multiple platforms, notably; Peacock, SkyShowtime, Showmax NOW & WOW. Focussing on sign up, sign in and acquisition through prospect web journeys, 3rd party partner web integrations & in-app purchase integrations, plus extensive self-service capabilities for in-life customers account management i.e. chat bots, live chat and comprehensive help articles.
