The Channel Strategy team are highly collaborative and dynamic, and committed to continually challenging the status quo to find new opportunities to drive better outcomes for customers and Sky.
The team is responsible for owning, defining and delivering the future strategy across the Voice Route to Market. You will be responsible for the next evolution of Voice by supporting the development and implementation of initiatives that add value to, and expand / enhance existing route to market channels and support our digital ambition moving forward.
What You'll Do:
- Build out longer-term plans and budgets to support business prioritisation and quarterly/financial planning cycles,
- Collaborate skilfully with other areas of the business (e.g. Digital, Trading Performance, Retail, Customer Service Group, Finance) to ensure world class execution,
- Support on the preparation of concise and impactful materials for C-Suite and MD review meetings,
- Provide direction and influence decision makers on business approach, considering both broader company and bottom line financial benefits/risk,
- Produce insights into how our channels are performing.
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to work across a matrix organisation with the product owners, Trading teams, Customer Service Group and finance to ensure the Sky leadership team makes informed and timely decisions,
- Ability to identify trends, issues and challenges – a real get up and go attitude to tackle issues head on and who responds positively to change and/or ambiguity,
- Highly numerate and analytical combined with excellent communication skills to present findings in written, PowerPoint, spreadsheet and verbal format to senior team members,
- Problem solving and very strong analytical skills with the ability to comfortably work with incomplete information, providing plausible & creative solutions,
- Tireless and results driven mentality, able to continually critique and optimise performance with a positive mind-set,
- Strong excel skills and an insight-led approach, able to take insight from analysis and turn it into new propositions,
- End to End understanding – able to work across RTMs to ensure we have a clear view of what is happening in the business across all areas,
- Able to work with the wider business to launch new products/features in a high-profile, pressurised environment where multiple high-profile projects are managed at once.
