The Digital Content Producer is an audience-first storyteller, responsible for creating digital content strategies that engage with audiences and contribute to building global TV show brands. The Creative Producer will collaborate with our campaign and editorial teams to ideate and produce outstanding content during production of our Sky Original slate of scripted and unscripted programming, working cross-functionally with our Sky Social Media, Marketing, and PR teams to ensure all content is distributed strategically to targeted audiences.


In this role you will find ways to engage talent, showrunners, producers, and international stakeholders and creatively champion what is possible to capture during the production of a show.

What you’ll do:

  • Playing a critical role within the on-set content production team, producing consistently creative formats, following best practices and continuing to evolve our output
  • Positioning our on-set capture function capabilities and creative to production companies and talent in a way that excites, engages and pushes the boundaries, to further set us apart from our competitors
  • Championing and producing our existing Sky social repeatable format programming slate
    • Driving any optimisation needed based on performance
    • Monitoring competitor output and staying up to date on latest technological innovations in the space to ensure we remain industry leaders
  • Briefing and managing freelancers and agencies as required
  • Overseeing on-set production budgets and additional content capture shoot logistics
  • Delivering updates on creative and progress to internal stakeholders throughout the production and post-production process
  • Supporting social campaign team on post-production and managing agency delivery timelines for all on set content

What you’ll bring:

  • Extensive experience in a relevant on set role within TV or film production
  • Extensive experience delivering digital content across multiple distribution touchpoints and ideally working with international partners
  • Strong demonstrable understanding of social media platforms, formats and trends
  • Proven ability to create robust strategies for content production based on show information, positioning, scripts etc.
  • Experience managing multiple agency partners autonomously to produce best-in-class creative content
  • Senior stakeholder management – experience working with multiple stakeholders, preferable experience presenting creative ideas
  • Proven experience working with budgets and making informed budget decisions based on gaining the best ROI
  • Experience tracking content performance and KPIs to inform future activities
  • Proven track record of creating engaging content (broadcast, digital video, social) that drives engagement and talkability
  • Strong demonstrable editorial judgment
  • Organised and able to manage projects against timelines, keeping stakeholders informed of progress
  • Experience with broadcast delivery would be welcomed

Team overview:

On Set Creative Content

The on-set creative content team sits within the Consumer Engagement team and reports into the Head of Social media. We are seeking a creative producer to help develop brilliant assets on the sets of our Sky Original productions to help bring them to life in the UK and international campaigns.

From the script to the screen, the team focus on creating assets that can be used across multiple distribution points including social media, the UI, .com, talent social pages and even occasionally on linear broadcast to help bring the behind the scenes stories and show brand to life.

Working closely with the go to market campaign team, this is a collaborative role that combines creativity with practical production expertise and teamwork.
