This role is an exciting opportunity in Sky Sports Football, working across our portfolio of rights including PL, EFL, WSL, and SPFL. As a Director, you will be required to lead your team, providing clear direction and cultivating a culture of high performance, continuous improvement and innovation.

What you'll do:

  • Reporting into a Senior Director, you will work as part of a team directing Sky Sports’ live football coverage, in predominantly a presentation directing capacity, but also with regular match directing opportunities.
  • Support Football Leadership team with the look and feel of football studios and on-screen graphics and messaging.
  • Support the Football Leadership team with people development, including both on-screen and off-screen talent.   
  • Lead & manage a multi skilled team.
  • Uphold company, legal and compliance guidelines.
  • Create a high performing culture that encourages inclusion, collaboration and creativity and empowers people to succeed

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience presentation directing top-tier live Football events.
  • Preferable experience directing 8+ camera match coverage of top-tier live football.
  • Trained and experienced both editorially and creatively to a high level in world-class live sport production.
  • High level organizational skills, ability to prioritize and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • An inspirational leader with track record of managing and motivating
  • Strong communicator who will ensure all members of the team have the information and knowledge they need to do their jobs.
  • Willing to travel & work weekends.
