We are seeking an experienced Media Strategy Manager who is excited about influencing media strategy and shaping the marketing for our brands.  They will be responsible for producing in-depth competitor analysis, providing strategic insights, and driving the development of measurement frameworks and evaluating campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be able to navigate and positively influence a complex matrix of stakeholders, manage conflicting priorities and translate insights into strategic recommendations to drive the success of our media initiatives. 

What you'll do:

  • Competitor Analysis: Regularly produce comprehensive analysis of competitor media strategies, including spends, media channel usage and campaign creatives. Provide actionable insights based on market trends and competitor marketing activities to inform our media strategy.

  • Design Measurement Frameworks: Develop and implement comprehensive measurement frameworks for evaluating the performance of media campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and strategic goals. Establish clear metrics and KPIs for different media channels, enabling precise tracking and analysis of campaign effectiveness across various platforms.

  • Media Channel Expertise: A strong understanding of media KPIs and their implications on campaign outcomes, applying this knowledge to optimise media planning and our test and learn program. Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments across media channels, leveraging this expertise to recommend the most effective way to achieve campaign objectives.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing detailed performance reports. Communicate complex media strategy concepts in an accessible manner to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Project Management: Lead and manage multiple strategic projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals. Work autonomously to prioritise workload, balancing long-term strategic projects with urgent tasks.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience in media strategy, campaign analytics, growth marketing or a similar role within a consumer brand or agency setting.

  •  Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to senior stakeholders clearly and convincingly.

  • Experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships and influencing decision-making processes. 

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of developing innovative solutions to complex problems.
