The Workforce Data & Systems Coordinator will assist in the management & maintenance of Sky Sports’ local adoption of people data systems – e.g. Workday – in line with the specialist requirements of a shift workforce. This role will also ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of all data. Optimising data workflows, audit compliance, reviewing system activity, gathering feedback & training users will all be key parts of the role. The role will support the Workforce Systems & Data Manager as part of the Workforce Operations department, which provides key support functions to over one thousand Sky Sports employees.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the Workforce Data & Systems Manager with all areas of system & data support.

  • Encourage data protection policy compliance by being an active data protection champion, including ensuring Sky Sports’ records of processing are current & comprehensive.

  • Project audit work as required e.g. reviewing workflows & gathering data sets.

  • Coordinate & facilitate local training as required e.g. data protection, Workday, Concur, PlanIt.

  • Maintain key local system & information point data e.g. Sky Sports’ Sky Learn channel & Sky Sports Hub.

  • Proactively ensure systems access & training is provided for all new starters or those new to role.

  • Be a local touchpoint for system queries & feedback, reporting serious or persistent issues to the Workforce Systems & Data Manager for further escalation.

  • Support rostering teams with resource system data upkeep e.g. PlanIt housekeeping.

  • Review expense activity & provide compliance updates & training where required.

What you’ll bring:

  • Knowledge of IT systems: or a real passion & ability to learn, being happy to try new things.

  • Diligent attention to detail: the role will be expected to create & run reports, read spreadsheets & spot issues.

  • A curious approach: being able to patiently listen, learn & suggest ways to solve challenges.

  • Some knowledge of television production: an understanding of what it is like to work on shift & in a time pressured environment would be really beneficial too.

  • An interest in learning training skills: being able to train users on how to get through systems in the simplest quickest way.

  • Integrity: being able to always deal with confidential information in a respectful & careful way.
