As a Money blogger for Sky News, you'll produce original consumer and personal finance content for the award-winning Money blog, one of Sky News' most consumed platforms. You'll take a lead on producing all editorial content, reporting into the live blogs editor.

What you’ll do:

• Produce original news and features for our popular and award-winning Money blog.

• React to breaking consumer and economic news – and ensure the blog is fully populated with news each day.

• Often work independently and be expected to uphold Sky News’ standards of accuracy.

What you’ll bring:

• A first-class journalist with a track record of finding, writing and producing stories to a high standard for recognised news organisations – whether national or local.

• Have a passion for and deep knowledge of consumer, economic and personal finance news.

• A talent for producing engaging features and long reads.

• Experienced in handling breaking news scenarios.

• Able to produce clean, engaging copy at pace and under pressure.

• Willing to adjust your work patterns when events require.
