As a Senior Business Analyst, you will join the Billing Delivery Change team, a team of business analysis professionals working within a world class billing department. The team are the voice of Billing within Sky, representing each of the teams within the department, ensuring they are engaged in business changes which may impact them. We collaborate with all areas of the business on a diverse portfolio of projects to improve and ensure consistency of experience for our customers and colleagues, from a Billing perspective.

 Billing ensures that Sky customers are billed accurately, fairly and clearly for the products and services they enjoy, while ensuring Sky as a business collects revenue due from customers, minimising any financial losses​. 

Our processes span capabilities including service provisioning, Transcom’s, billing, payment processing right through to managing customer debt, ensuring customers have access to the service they have signed up for and are being billed for. ​ Alongside all of this we also review and reconcile bills from 3rd parties to ensure Sky is paying in alignment with our expectations​.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the analysis approach and delivery for projects or programme work streams from a Billing perspective throughout the project lifecycle, including the requirements management process.

  • Coach, mentor and lead analysts within the team, sharing your knowledge and experience and being a role model for the team.

  • Deliver quality analysis artefacts (e.g., business requirements, business processes) for Billing and, where applicable, provide input to analysis artefacts produced by the wider project teams.

  • Work closely with stakeholders, building strong relationships, ensuring needs are fully understood and represented, and ensuring any changes are embedded successfully within the Billing department.

  • Collaborate with cross-discipline delivery teams to ensure solutions meet business needs, championing the customer and driving changes that strive to enhance the customer experience.

  • Be able to identify potential challenges or blockers up-front and to use your experience to support quick and pragmatic decision making.

  • Actively support team development activities and initiatives to drive quality delivery, demonstrating a ‘believe in better’ approach.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven business analysis experience and robust analysis toolkit, across a variety of different sized projects and the full project lifecycle, with the ability to juggle and manage a varied workload.

  • Experience of mentoring and supporting others in a project delivery environment and of successfully motivating others and leading by example

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills bringing a creative approach to identifying solutions

  • Excellent stakeholder management and written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.

  • An understanding of different methodologies (e.g., traditional waterfall and agile) and the ability to adapt to working with teams using different methodologies in project delivery.

  • A strong track record of delivering results with the ability to plan and organise work, for yourself and other, to meet business objectives.

  • A ‘believe in better’ approach with the desire to adapt and implement continuous improvements in ways of working and project delivery.
